| I would
like to welcome you all to our new members club. Most of us have been
online friends now for some time and have played alot of golf
together. Cory and I decided to put this team together as
a show of our friendship and a place for us to get together and
have fun. As most of you know, we are not a big fan of rules,
such as wearing a jacket in the zone, but this will be your
choice we just want our members to be happy and consider this a
place to meet with your friends and enjoy. I have put a few basic
rules down or guidelines if that is what you want to call them which
apply to our club.
1. You will all be held
accountable for your own actions. If it comes down to it and we
receive information regarding your actions with any sort of bad publicity towards
the club a members meeting will be called to deal with it and you will
have a chance to present your side. We want to keep this a fun
club where we can play tours, fun games and get together with our
friends.
2. We will not be
enforcing any use of team jackets in social lobbies. You may choose
to wear one if you want to -- this decision is up to the
individual.
We
do want you to wear the jacket in the game so
opposing team
can identify you with the Club this will avoid any
confusion for others when reporting scores after the
game. One other
point is please report your game as soon as you have finished and
remember be a good sport win or lose its a fun game.
3. Seeing as this is a members
club, any help you can provide in making it run smoothly would be
appreciated.
4. All members will have a
say what goes on in the club and if you do not like something or
have suggestions please speak up.
5.
Meetings will be held
when somebody has an issue
or a new idea they wish to
have discussed, all they have to
do is contact me and I will
set up the meeting and the
person with
the issue to
discuss will HOST the meeting.
All meetings will be held in
Be The
Club Room
(to get there select this room instead
of
Bunker Room).
If you cannot attend the meeting
please send an email to the Capts to let them know.
Please go to the
main page
www.onejump.net
and click on email, use
subject OFC Meeting and let us know
that you are unable to attend
the meeting.
If you are
ONLINE and do not
attend meeting you will receive an
OTN this
notice will last only one month in
this case - so in otherwords first
time is a warning and if happens
again you will be removed from
the club. This club was set
up so all members would have a
say in any new ideas, suggestions for
the club. our rules are
very simple and because we want input
from all members as to what goes on
in the club we have decided to make
this rule MANDATORY.
5. With regard to
the IHT Tourneys, there
will be a draw made each
month and that person will be
contacted and they will pick the
course, conditions, and these will
be posted on the IHT page.
There is no way you can
win the draw again until
all players have had a turn.
once you win your name is
withdrawn from the list and will
be put back in the Hat after
all have had a chance to pick
the course, etc. Remember that
we will not be picking Fantasy
courses for this tour such as
Wacky World, Freaky Golf etc.
This means that all players
can play the IHT every month
and we are now using a
Handicap system so that everyone
has a chance at winning the
months tourney and getting their
name on a Trophy in the Trophy
room. For those that
need to use the Putting Assistant
they may do so in the IHT
Tournament effective November 2005.
Your can use the No putting Assistant
MOP or you can use the
Stroke Mop that allows putting
assistant (this is a Microsoft
MOP).
6. Some members
have been marked as Inactive as
they have not played in some
time now, If they wish to
change that status all they have
to do is start playing again.
We have one member who is Away
but will be back with us
soon.
7. Also please
note that we now have our
home course showing on the main
page and this was made for
the club by our own No
Putt (Neal Parnell) who is also
responsible for making our animations
for us. Neal is one of
our Co Capts for those that
have not yet had the pleasure of
meeting him.
8. Tourney matches must
be reported right after the game, if
not reported then he/she will be get an
Official Team
Notice (OTN)
which will last three months, within that time
period if two more notices are given, the
third of these is a notice to
leave the club.
I am quite confident that we can look forward to many years of Links fun and heck,
maybe we'll win a game or two here and there. Good luck to you all,
thanks very much for joining The Old Feckers Club and most of
all, lets have the kind of fun we've had for so many months and
years together.
After reading our rules if you would like to be considered as a candidate
please email us and provide some personal information about yourself, your email
address, choice of Club name, IP number or ICQ number. Thank you for considering
our Club as a possible choice.
